Jazz up your envelopes

Hello friend,

Recently Letz Craft launched these beautiful envelopes in rainbow colors. There are brights and pastels and neutral shades. Jovi was kind enough to send me these.

There are two sizes - for 5" x 7" cards and for A2 (4.25 x 5.5") cards. They are made from 120 gsm paper . Very neatly made and they have matching cardstocks too. Amazing ...amazing stuff.

I am sharing some pics to show how you can jazz up your envelopes and how to mix and match. When you are making your card it is so easy to decorate the envelope too as all the supply is already out.

You can use similar stamp, diecut or pattern paper to co-ordinate them. I like bottom left corner and flap to add my elements. You can use any side or corner as far as you keep space for address.

Easy isn't it! It is loads of fun plus add so much to your card. Try them...you will love them.

Thanks for being here.

Birthday wishes

Hello friends,

I am on Jane's blog with a birthday card.

I have used Birthday Wishes & Cakes stamp sets. The black and grey stripes are done directly on the base using Zig clean brush pens. Cake is water colored and added few clear stones and white embossed sentiment to finish off my card.

Here is the close up!

Thank you so much for being here.

Today's card is for Jane's Doodles blog. It is a Holiday card made using Winter Wishes & Christmas blessings stamp sets.

I have used pine branch from Christmas blessings set to stamp a piece of white CS cut in triangle using altenew inks. Gifts and bear are from winter wishes stamp set colored with copics. Some grounding eith water color, sentiment and silver glittery star. Done.

Hope to see you soon. Keep crafting!

Peace and Joy

I am on Jane's Doodle blog today! I created two cards with similar layout. I have used Christmas Blessing stamp set for the both.

I have use faber castell polychromos pencils to color both the cards. Yes, you can color on black too with them...:) . It takes long to color with pencils but it is amazing how you can layer colors.
Hope you will like it.
Thanks for being here! Have  a great day!

Reunion with MFT

Hey friends,

Few days back, we had a reunion of our classmates (M.Sc. - Microbiology). We all were meeting after 26 years! One of our friend initiated this meet and I am so glad she did! We had some crazily awesome time recalling all the old memories and making new ones. We all have added gray to the hair but after few laughs we were all 20 again! A trip to nostalgia just rejuvenated our spirit!

Check some of the Microbs...:P

turned MEGA........

Now, coming to the card, I used MFT stamps and dies. We all signed it and gave it to the friend who hosted this meet.

Needless to say... I love this stamp set and dies!
That is all for today! I will be back tomorrow with a Christmas card...:)

Monster squad

Hey there,

I am at Jane's Doodles blog with these super cute monsters from Monster Squad set.

I just masked left and right sides of an a2 card base to make the light beam. I sponged distress inks very lightly to define the beam. I also stamped various sentiments from the same set to add some interest to the background. I splattered various distress inks on 3 pcs of paper, stamped monsters , fussy cut and added those popping eye balls.

Thank you for being here. Have a nice day!

Unicorn - Release blog hop

Hello friends,

I am super excited to write this post. We @ Jane's Doodles are releasing a stamp set - Unicorn. The most exciting part is we have Jennifer Mcguire - Yes.... THE Jennifer as our guest DT. Isn't it exciting!

The stamp set is a superb mix of lovely sentiments and cutest unicorns I have ever seen. All other elements make it super easy to create beautiful fairy tale style card.

Let's check what I made

The Background is made with diecut clouds as stencil and distress ink. Sun is stenciled with heroarts stencil and yellow dyink (so it will not mix with water based blue distress ink and make it green). Clouds are loaded with wink of stella & unicorn is colored using copics.

Tag -1

It is a shaker tag made using two circle dies. Sentiment is from my stash. I stamped and masked rainbow before I inked the background.

Tag -2

This is a faux shaker tag. I made a little shadow box using two tag dies. Hope you liked my creation.

Now, coming to blog hop... all the clear stamps are 20% off during hop. There is a giveaway too... One winner will get one stamp set of his/her choice. So leave a comment on this post and all the fellow designers' posts for your chance to win a set. Jane will announce the winner on Saturday and the sale ends on Sunday.

Your next stop is Milka !

Thankful

Hey friends,

I am on Jane's blog with a card and a tag. I have used her Thankful set .

It is a combination of some bold sentiments and very playful leaves stamps. Love the variation in sizes and trendy, geometric feel to it.

I decided to try some negative painting with it. Though I cheated a bit and embossed the leaves in white on Strathmore precut water color paper. This made the whole coloring process super fast as I don't have to be careful for bleeding. I Have used Mission Gold water colors for both the projects.

The sentiment is embossed in gold. I sponged some brown inks on the edges using circle diecut mask.

For the tag, I just stamped a leaf in black and mount on coloured background.

That is all for today! Tomorrow, we are having a stamp release blog hop and a very special guest designer for the same..... I am soooo excited! See you tomorrow!
