Faith!

Hey friends,

I am on Jane's blog with a card using my most favorite stamp set - you got this from Jane's Doodles.

I cut the small panel using stitched die. Heat embossed sentiment, blended yellow ink at the bottom, cut a butterfly using die, inked green ink on butterfly, stamped butterflies on large and small both the panels using MISTI. Stacked few butterfly diecuts under the main diecut to raise it.

I don't know the name of the technique.. (ummm...inlaid, stacked die cut...:( ..) Whatever...I love to use it when there are large sentiments like this. It gives very interesting dimension to the focal point.

That is all for now.
Love!

Jane's Doodles DT post

Hey friends,

Last week we released this beautiful set - "You got this" @ Jane's Doodles. As I mentioned, I adore this set...truly! Translating those sentiments into card is a pure joy! Today's card uses gorgeous flowers from Lily  set too!

I tried to create perfectly amazing imperfection using those ink splatters, wonky panel and different thickness of paper stripes not in a order. Does that make sense? Let me know...:P

Thank you for being here. Love!

Jane's Doodles Blog Hop

Hello friends,

We, at Jane's Doodles are releasing three brand new sets which I am sure you all are going to love. They are  Belated BirthdayLily and You Got This (My favorite).

Belated Birthday has these cute turtles and snails combined with very thoughtful sentiments. She has this mastery in drawing the cutest creatures. You almost feel that they are talking to you...lol!
Lilies are gorgeous! Fun to color and easy to fussy cut. Love the variation in size of flowers. Third one is - You got This - amazing ! The quotes are superb and fonts are quite big so some water color background and one of the sentiment will be enough for a card!

Here goes my cards...:)

I have used rain or shine for sun and unicorn  for rainbow. They are colored using tombow marker, and ship is hand cut.

The Lilies are colored using zig clean markers. The background stripes are with stripes and dots set.

Let's help that lil snail to blow the candles on her birthday cake. Will ya! Lol! The moment I saw the sentiment and these cute creatures, I knew I wanted to make something quirky ! I hope it makes sense...:)! Absolutely love those sentiments...so so versatile.
